Queens Dynamic Duo
Queens Dynamic Duo musicians, Kelley McGarry and Jesús Saenz, are highly trained artists with music performance degrees and diplomas from schools such as the Manhattan School of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Texas Christian University, and University of North Texas. They have performed at world renowned venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, New Jersey’s NJPAC, Boston’s Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and various prestigious halls across Latin America and Europe.
After meeting at the Boston Conservatory in 2016, their violin duo was formed and trained by some of the music industries’ top artists. After graduating, Kelley and Jesús set off to tour with Lincoln Center Stage as performing artists traveling throughout Seattle, Alaska, British Colombia, Hawaii, San Diego and Mexico. Following their tour, the couple moved to Queens, NY where they named themselves Queens Dynamic Duo and began performing for concerts, events, proposals, and weddings throughout the tri-borough area.
Their most recent successes include Jesús' acceptance into the New Jersey Symphony as a Colton Fellow and Kelley’s debut as a soloist with the Cusco and Arequipa Symphonies. Both musicians actively commit themselves to the act of bettering the world and being global citizens through the lens of music and the arts. Because of this, the duo formed Musicians for the World, a nonprofit organization that provides free, virtual music education and high quality, musical performances to vulnerable communities worldwide.
